Mefenamic acid kills the pain for up to eight hours, and it's incredibly effective for women suffering from extreme discomfort due to their period. It's suitable for adults and teens aged 14 years and over and contains the active ingredient mefenamic acid.

Mefenamic acid belongs to the same group of drugs as ibuprofen – non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs. They are better at reducing pain than over-the-counter medications and have proven to be effective in managing symptoms of period pain.
