Losec MUPS 20mg tablets are an effective treatment for symptoms of acid reflux. Taken in the form of an oral tablet, Losec MUPS reduces the amount of acid present in the stomach. This prevents gastric acid from refluxing up the respiratory tract, helping to relieve symptoms such as heartburn and acid reflux. This proton pump inhibitor is most effective when taken once daily, usually at the same time each day.

Losec MUPS is a commonly prescribed medication for acid reflux. The medication works by reducing the amount of stomach acid produced by the body, helping to prevent any acid from refluxing out of the stomach. Losec tablets are also used to treat gastro-oesophageal reflux disease (GORD).
Losec MUPS contains the active ingredient Omeprazole, which is part of a group of medicines known as proton pump inhibitors (PPI). Losec MUPs work by blocking enzymes called ‘proton pumps’ responsible for creating stomach acid.
There are potential risks associated with taking Losec MUPS, as is the case when taking any medication. Most of these are quite mild and often subside over time.

Severe Losec MUPS Side Effects
There are some rare yet severe side effects associated with Losec MUPS. You should seek medical attention and speak to a doctor immediately if you have difficulty swallowing, experience a severe allergic reaction, yellowing skin, or you have joint pain along with a red skin rash, especially in parts of your body exposed to the sun, such as your arms, cheeks and nose.
