Gaviscon Advance Liquid has active ingredients sodium alginate and potassium hydrogen carbonate that alleviate stomach acid reflux, forming a protective layer on top of the stomach contents.
How Does Gaviscon Advance Liquid Peppermint Work?
Gaviscon Advance Liquid works to control heartburn symptoms by forming a protective layer over the stomach contents. Thanks to this layer, no stomach contents enter the lining of the food pipe, thus preventing reflux, acid indigestion, and heartburn symptoms. Gaviscon Advance Liquid comes in peppermint flavour and can be taken to ease the cough associated with reflux (known as reflux oesophagitis).
