HRT patches contain oestrogen-only or both oestrogen and progesterone. These patches can be used by women who may struggle to remember to take daily tablets or who experience difficult side effects through oral therapy.

When taking any form of medication such as hormonal replacement therapy (HRT), there can be risks of experiencing side effects. Some can be mild and can go away after a period of time. However, some side effects can have a serious impact on your overall health. Serious side effects should be discussed with your doctor or medical professional straight away. If you are struggling with side effects, then you should contact your doctor who will be able to advise a different course of treatment.

Please contact a member of our team if you are concerned about any potential side effects that may occur when using HRT patches.
