Elleste Solo tablets are a HRT (Hormone replacement therapy) designed to increase hormone levels within the body and alleviate the symptoms of menopause, such as insomnia, hot flushes, night sweats, mood swings, decreased libido, and vaginal dryness. Elleste solo tablets are suitable for postmenopausal women and contains the active ingredient estradiol hemihydrate (a naturally-produced version of the female hormone oestrogen).

Oral hormone replacement therapy (HRT) is licensed for use in women who have not had a period in 12 consecutive months. They usually contain estradiol, which helps to replace oestrogen deficiency and a synthetic form of progesterone.
