- Wait: It's best to wait at least 30 minutes before rinsing your mouth with water or drinking, as the fluoride needs a chance to work correctly.

Side Effects of Colgate Duraphat Toothpaste
Duraphat Toothpaste, like other medicines, can cause some unwanted adverse effects, although not everybody who uses it gets them.
In very rare cases, people treated with Colgate Duraphat have allergic reactions. The symptoms of an allergic reaction include rash, itching, swelling, and redness.
Some people who used the product reported a burning sensation in their mouth.
