These lozenges can reduce inflammation and throat irritation due to the anti-inflammatory effects of the active ingredient benzydamine hydrochloride. Difflam 3mg Lozenges Orange Honey are suitable for adults and children aged six years and over and contain the active ingredient benzydamine hydrochloride.

These delicious-tasting orange flavour lozenges help ease pain in throats and mouths caused by colds and other bacterial viruses. Benzydamine hydrochloride is a Non-Steroidal Anti-Inflammatory Drug (NSAID) and helps reduce inflammation and discomfort in your throat.

As with all medications, there's always the chance of Difflam Orange Honey Lozenges causing side effects.

While it's rare to experience an allergic reaction, tell your doctor immediately if you notice:

  • Abrupt mouth or throat swelling.
  • A skin rash, especially if it's all over your body.
  • Itchiness of the skin.
  • Breathing issues.

Occasional (only affects up to 1 in 100 people):

  • Skin sensitivity to sunlight (a rash or sunburn).

Unusual (may impact up to 1 in 1,000 people):

  • Mouth burning or dryness. Drinking a glass of water can help reduce this reaction.

Exceptionally rare (may affect up to 1 in every 10,000 people):

  • Breathing difficulties (laryngospasm).
  • Swelling of the throat, mouth, or angioedema (mucous membrane swelling).
