Cyclizine is an anti-sickness medication that can be used to prevent and treat nausea. It can be used by adults and children above 12 years of age.

There is always a risk of side effects with all medications. Some of these can be quite mild and can subside over time. Others are more serious and should be reported to your GP right away if you experience any side effects. Common side effects can include:

There are some serious, but rare side effects that can occur when taking cyclizine. Speak to a healthcare professional right away if you begin to experience any of the following:

  • Yellowing of the skin or whites of the eyes
  • Muscle stiffness, shaking, or unusual facial movements
  • Bleeding that does not stop after ten minutes
