Covonia Night Time Formula is an oral solution for problematic, non-productive coughs (dry coughs) and congestion symptoms caused by viruses. Its active ingredient, dextromethorphan hydrobromide, works swiftly to curb your coughing reflex, while diphenhydramine hydrochloride (an antihistamine), dries up your runny nose and eases nasal congestion. Covonia Night Time Formula is suitable for adults, the elderly and children aged 12 or over and contains dextromethorphan hydrobromide and diphenhydramine hydrochloride.

Covonia Night Time Formula is a bedtime pharmacy medicine used to relieve nasal congestion, runny nose symptoms and dry coughs associated with colds and influenza (flu). The oral solution soothes and tackles annoying coughs and aids in restful sleep. Covonia Night Time Formula contains dextromethorphan hydrobromide and diphenhydramine hydrochloride and is suitable for adults, the elderly and children aged 12 or over.

Common side effects when taking Covonia Night Time Formula include:

  • Drowsiness.
  • Concentration deficiency.

Rarely, you may notice:

  • Nervousness.
  • Agitation.
  • Twitching muscles.
  • Blurry vision.
  • Being sick.
  • Trembling.
  • Pins and needles.
  • Blistering skin.
  • Fits (convulsions).

Even more rarely, you may experience:

  • Feeling sick.
  • An upset stomach.
  • Dizziness.
  • Mouth dryness.
  • Thickened saliva.
  • Rapid heartbeat (palpitations).
  • Problems urinating.
