Covonia Dry Cough Sugar-Free Formula is a treatment for the symptomatic relief of bothersome, dry coughs that don't produce any mucus (thick phlegm). The cough solution includes pholcodine (a suppressant) that obstructs the cough reflex, reducing dry and tickly throats. This oral liquid solution is suitable for adults and children aged 12 or over and includes the active ingredient pholcodine.

  • Feverishness.
  • Swelling of the mouth, skin or lips.
  • Extreme itching and rashes.


Other potential side effects:

  • Nausea or vomiting.
  • Trouble passing stools.
  • Feeling dizzy.
  • Feeling drowsy.
  • Feeling confused.
  • Feeling excited.
  • A rash on the skin.
  • Difficulty coughing up mucus.
