Care Glycerin Syrup soothes sore throats and chapped skin. When taken orally, it alleviates painful throat symptoms, or when mixed with water and applied to your skin, it works as a moisturiser to quench rough, cracked areas. Glycerol is a sweet-tasting liquid and acts rapidly on sore throats by forming a protective film on your throat's irritated tissues, reducing discomfort. For sore, scaly skin, glycerol acts as a humectant, drawing and retaining moisture. It's suitable for adults and children aged one and over and contains the active ingredient glycerol.

Care Glycerin Syrup is a dual-purpose product, providing benefits for both sore throats and chapped skin. Its active ingredient, glycerol, coats your inflamed throat tissues in a protective layer. Or when you apply the product to your skin, it acts as a humectant, meaning it retains and attracts moisture for enhanced hydration.

As with all medicines, glycerin may cause side effects. Side effects can include:

  • Feeling sick.
  • A headache.
  • Vomiting.
  • Loose stools.
  • Feeling thirsty.
  • Feeling dizzy.
  • Feeling confused.
  • Erratic heartbeat.
  • Extreme dehydration if you're already thirsty.

If you experience any of these or other side effects not mentioned, cease taking this product and contact your doctor or one of our pharmacists.
