Canesten Hydrocortisone cream is an effective treatment for athlete's foot and sweat rashes. It's designed as a short-term treatment to both eradicate and keep symptoms under control within 7 days. Canesten Hydrocortisone cream 15g attacks the fungal skin infection, thus, reducing the associated itching, redness, and swelling symptoms. The active ingredients include hydrocortisone and clotrimazole. Hydrocortisone is a mild steroid to diminish redness, itching, and swelling, while the latter is from a group of medications called imidazoles, which eliminate fungi and several bacteria that induce skin infections.
