Calpol six plus fastmelts are a good pain relief medicine for children over 6 years old. They provide relief from mild to moderate pain including toothache, headache, sore throat, aches and pains, cold and flu, feverishness, including post immunisation fever. They contain the active ingredient 250mg paracetamol per tablet. These strawberry flavour tablets dissolve quickly in the mouth and can be taken without water, delivering long lasting pain and fever relief within 15 minutes. Suitable for children aged 6 years and older.

Calpol Sixplus Fastmelts are a painkiller and fever reducer for children aged 6 years and over. They contain paracetamol, a common and effective medicine for relieving pain and fever. The tablets are strawberry-flavoured and dissolve quickly in the mouth, making them easy to take without water.

Calpol Fastmelts Six Plus are generally well-tolerated when used as directed. However, like all medications, it can potentially cause side effects in some individuals.

This includes:

  • Nausea and vomiting
  • Diarrhea
  • Becoming unusually tired
  • Unexpected bruising or bleeding
  • Getting more infections (such as colds) than usual
  • Serious skin reactions e.g. skin reddening, blisters, rash
  • Liver damage: Prolonged use of high doses of paracetamol, the active ingredient in Calpol Fastmelts Six Plus, can potentially cause liver damage.
