Calpol Infant Suspension is the liquid version of paracetamol for infants aged between 2 months and 6 years old. It is a medicine that has a variety of uses for young children such as temperature/fever, pain, coughs, and sore throats. Like all medicines, Calpol Sugar-Free Infant Suspension Strawberry oral medication may have side effects, although not everyone will experience them. These include:
- Allergic reactions, e.g. swelling of the face, tongue, or throat, difficulty swallowing, unexplained wheezing, and shortness of breath, which may be accompanied by skin rash or hives
- Becoming unusually tired, unexpected bruising or bleeding, getting more infections, such as colds, than usual
- Very rare cases of serious skin reactions have been reported. Symptoms include: skin reddening, blisters, rash
