Betacap 0.1% Scalp Application is an effective prescription-only treatment that reduces the symptoms and discomfort of inflammatory scalp infections.
It's most beneficial when treating:
- Scalp Psoriasis: A condition that causes scaly, red, and itchy patches of thickened skin. Betacap can relieve inflammation and calm your immune system's response.

Betacap 0.1% Scalp Application Age Restrictions
Betacap Scalp Solution is suitable for adults and children over one year. If you're treating a young child, please seek medical advice before administering the lotion.

- Gently massage the solution into the scalp with fingers.
- Allow the solution to dry naturally.
- Leave the Betacap solution on your scalp.

Apply Betacap scalp application twice a day. When the condition begins to improve, the frequency of applications is reduced.
When to Avoid Using Betacap?
While Betacap can treat inflammatory scalp disorders and relieve symptoms in the affected area, there are some cases when you should either avoid it completely or take precautions.
Avoid Using Betacap If:
- Allergies: You should avoid using it if you're sensitive or allergic to betamethasone valerate or any other ingredients in Betacap Scalp Solution.
- Infections: People with scalp and skin infections like shingles, impetigo, and ringworm shouldn't use Betacap as it can worsen the infection. Your doctor will be able to provide appropriate medical treatments instead.
- Damaged/Broken Skin: Please don't use Betacap on broken or damaged skin, as it can cause pain and worsen your symptoms.
- Near Heat: Never use Betacap near an open flame or heat source, as it's highly flammable.
Betacap 0.1% Scalp Application Precautions
