Benylin 4 Flu Tablets reduce the four main flu symptoms associated with colds and influenza (flu), including coughing, body aches, feverishness, and nasal congestion. Paracetamol soothes aches and pains and a high temperature (feverishness), while diphenhydramine (an antihistamine) reduces sneezing, coughing and runny noses. Pseudoephedrine (a decongestant) clears blocked noses. Benylin 4 Flu Tablets are suitable for adults and children aged 10 and above.

Benylin 4 Flu Tablets combine three powerful ingredients: diphenhydramine, paracetamol and pseudoephedrine to reduce the four main flu symptoms: body pains and aches, feverishness, stuffy/runny nose and coughing.
As with all medicines, Benylin 4 Flu Tablets may cause side effects. However, you probably won't experience any. If you do, then the symptoms are normally mild.
If you notice any of the following, discontinue using this medication and seek medical help promptly:
- Skin rashes, blistering, peeling or itchy skin (allergic reaction).
- Feeling unusually fatigued, unexpected bleeding or bruising.
- Getting more illnesses than usual (colds).
Paracetamol may cause side effects, but this is extremely rare:
- Paranoid delusions and hallucinations.
- Seizures.
- Abnormal liver function blood tests.
If you notice any of these symptoms, discontinue using Benylin 4 Flu Tablets and contact your GP:
- Insomnia and restlessness.
- Erratic heartbeat.
- Increased blood pressure.
- Rapid heartbeat.
Other rarer side effects associated with Benylin 4 Flu Tablets include:
- Feeling drowsy.
- Problems performing tasks.
- An upset stomach.
- Headache.
- Problems urinating.
- Visual disturbances (blurriness).
- Mouth dryness.
- Thicker phlegm.
- Common: Anxiousness, irritability, excitability, feeling sick and vomiting.
- Rare: tremors, reduced blood pressure, shaking, feeling dizzy, feeling confused, a blood disorder, slurred speech.
