Alverine Citrate 60mg capsules are an antispasmodic medicine. They're a smooth muscle relaxant, meaning they relax the muscles in the walls of the stomach and the gut. In doing so, this prescription only IBS treatment can help to reduce cramps, bloating, and severe constipation, as well as relieve other IBS symptoms. This helps numb the pain you feel when the muscles tense.
